NAVITEL R980 4K is a modern and stylish dash cam equipped with Sony IMX 415 matrix that permits to record your trips in 4K (3840x2160p@30 fps). Ultra HD resolution allows to trace road signs, line marking and license plates, as well as to capture smaller details like surface bumps.
Thanks to a 7-layers glass lens with a built-in IR filter, shooting quality stays on top even in poor or excessively bright lighting conditions, while 140° field of view registers both the traffic area and the roadsides.
The bright, high-resolution 3” IPS display is easy to read from any angle. In the detection and alert mode, the display shows all the necessary information for comfortable and safe driving. DVR setup (as well as viewing photos and videos) can be done right on the touch screen, and a well-thought-out menu user interface makes it as simple and fast as possible.
The built-in GPS antenna and GPS-informer function allow the driver to receive the information about more than 60 types of speed cameras, mobile cameras and dummies, dedicated lanes for public transport and other potentially dangerous places. It will always alert you on the display and with a beep in plenty of time so that you can slow down and avoid those fines. Also, the display will show your current speed and the distance to the camera and others nearest traffic restrictions.
A supercapacitor that replaces a regular battery can withstand extreme temperature fluctuations and has impressive reliability. The ionistor is heat-resistant and tolerates power failures, which eliminates the chance of recording losses caused in a sudden power outage.
The NAVITEL R980 4K can be controlled remotely via a Wi-Fi unit. Thanks to the built-in hi-tech Wi-Fi module, video records and images can be viewed in an app for your portable device. User-friendly interface of the application helps to quickly sync with your dash cam and manage its settings remotely. Video files can be rapidly saved on your device and published on social media and messengers. The program is available for iOS and Android OS.
The NAVITEL R980 4K is equipped with a G-sensor that protects video clips taken during emergencies. In case of a sudden maneuver or physical impact, the system saves current file into a protected folder on the memory card. The DVR supports Parking Mode*, which automatically captures possible incidents when the car is parked with ignition turned off.
*Parking mode works only with a stationary power supply unit via a device that eliminates excessive battery discharge — NAVITEL SMART BOX MAX.
Magnetic conductive mount allows to install and release NAVITEL R980 4K in one sweep with no need to detach its wires hidden under the interior trim. When connected to power grid, the DVR will boot and start recording automatically without any extra taps.
The built-in GPS-module video recorder in NAVITEL R980 4K allows you to automatically save along with the video and the route of the car. After downloading and installing the Navitel DVR Player, program on your PC, the user can not only view and edit the captured video files, but also see the route of movement on the maps.
This DVR comes fitted with a one-year license key* for Navitel Navigator app that includes detailed maps of more than 45 countries around the world.
