Europe Q3 2018 maps are now available to the users of Navitel Navigator.
Bulgaria
The map of Bulgaria contains 5 516 cities and settlements, of which 597 include address search. The map contains 31 500 POI. Total length of the road graph is 93 502 km.
New roads next to Balchick and Sozopol towns were added on the map of Bulgaria Q3 2018.
Address database was updated in the following cities and settlements: Sofia, Burgas, Gara Bov, Klimentovo, Polikraishte, Pomorie, Tserovo, Voluyak.
Czech Republic
The map of the Czech Republic contains 20 535 cities and settlements, of which 6 259 include address search. The map contains 125 804 POI. Total length of the road graph is 161 145 km.
The following has been added on the map of the Czech Republic Q3 2018:
- Part of the D7 motorway (Postoloprty - Bitozeves);
- Part of the Strakonice detour;
- Part of the Děčín detour.
Finland
The map of Finland contains 13 816 cities and settlements, of which 9 511 include address search. The map contains 14 979 POI. Total length of the road graph is 479 910 km.
The road network of Finland has been updated in the following areas: Ostrobothnia (Pohjanmaa), South Karelia, Lapland.
Updates of address and POI databases around the towns of Iisalmi and Seinäjoki.
Vaasa to Umea ferry route has been updated.
France
The map of France contains 68 292 cities and settlements, of which 35 766 include address search. The map contains 1 198 821 POI. Total length of the road graph is 1 246 399 km.
New 3D objects were added to the map of following cities:
- Paris: the Palace of Versailles, the Galerie nationale du Jeu de Paume, Disneyland Paris, the Élysée Palace, the Conciergerie, the Petit Palais, Pont Mirabeau, the Musée de l'Orangerie, the Musée Picasso, Bastille Opera House, the July Column (the Place de la Bastille), the Sainte-Chapelle, the Statue of Liberty;
- Dinan: the basilique Saint-Sauveur de Dinan;
- Auxerre: the Stade Abbé-Deschamps.
The road network was updated for the regions of Aquitaine, Languedoc-Roussillon, Midi-Pyrénées and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Detailed street network was incorporated into the cities of Dinan, La Gravelle, Laval, Rennes and Fougères.
Germany
The map of Germany contains 97 048 cities and settlements, of which 88 797 include address search. The map contains 1 647 560 POI. Total length of the road graph is 1 100 346 km.
New 3D objects were added to the map of Berlin: the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, the St. Nikolai-Kirche, Charlottenburg Palace, Schönhausen Palace, Berlin-Tegel Airport, Berlin Schönefeld Airport, the Brandenburg Gate, the Marmorpalais (Marble Palace), the Altes Rathaus, Sanssouci palace, the Alexander Nevsky Memorial Church, St. Nicholas' Church.
POI database was updated.
Iceland
The map of Iceland contains 109 cities and settlements, of which 106 include address search. The map contains 43 175 POI. Total length of the road graph is 26 326 km.
Speed limits and and minor roads adjacent to the Ring Road have been updated.
Italy
The map of Italy contains 69 233 cities and settlements, of which 39 840 include address search. The map contains 67 972 POI. Total length of the road graph is 780 669 km.
New 3D objects were added to the map of Venice: the Gallerie dell'Accademia, the Doge's Palace, Ca' d'Oro (the Palazzo Santa Sofia), the Rialto Bridge, St Mark's Campanile, the Patriarchal Cathedral Basilica of Saint Mark, Columns of San Marco and San Teodoro, Santa Maria della Salute, the Venetian Arsenal, Ca' Rezzonico, the Ponte della Costituzione.
Macedonia
The map of Macedonia contains 1 822 cities and settlements, of which 73 include address search. The map contains 3 479 POI. Total length of the road graph is 19 644 km.
New part of the A1 highway has been added (Demir Kapija - Smokvica) on the Q3 2018 map of Macedonia.
POI database was updated.
Moldova
POI database was updated for the Q3 2018 map of the Republic of Moldova with new supermarkets and cafes.
Poland
The updated map of Poland 725 697 km of road graph, 267 870 POI, 95 313 settlements, 55 062 of which are provided with the detailed street network and support address search.
In comparison with the previous Q2 2018 map release, the road length has been significantly increased with more than 2 500 kilometres added to the map of Poland. The address database of all cities and settlements was revised. More than 280 towns and settlements was added to the map. POI database was updated.
Romania
The map of Romania contains 14 483 cities and settlements, of which 272 include address search. The map contains 39 536 POI. Total length of the road graph is 133 120 km.
The road network in the East and South of Romania has been updated, notably in the following cities: Brăila, Buzău, Craiova, Focșani, Galați, Iassy, Mureș, Sibiu, Suceava, Tulcea, Târgu. All up-to-date road information on road junctions and speed cameras was also included into the Q3 2018 map release.
The map of Bukharest was revised and updated.
Spain
New 3D objects were added to the map of Madrid: the Royal Basilica of San Francisco el Grande, the Prado Museum, the Museum of the Americas, Miguel de Cervantes monument, the Biblioteca Nacional de España, the Statue of the Bear and the Strawberry Tree.
Sweden
The map of Sweden contains 27 063 cities and settlements, of which 3 398 include address search. The map contains 13 118 POI. Total length of the road graph is 366 714 km.
Vaasa to Umea ferry route has been updated.
POI database has been updated.
Switzerland
The road network of Switzerland has been updated around Chur, Geneva, Lausanne, Montreux and Sion.
Ukraine
The map of Ukraine contains 30 013 cities and settlements, of which 3 424 include address search. The map contains 126 885 POI. Total length of the road graph is 1 140 136 km.
The road network of Ukraine has been updated in the Q3 2018 release. The following has been added on the map:
- Update of house numbers on Meteorologicheskaya street;
- Change of the road intersection (Polyarnaya and Kulzhenko Family streets);
- No left turn from Holosiivska avenue to Holosiivska street;
- 1230 streets in Kiev, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhia, and Zhytomyr oblast were renamed;
- 43 towns and settlements were renamed in Zaporizhia oblast.
New release includes 6 new settlements available for house-level search: Dunaivtsi, Izyaslav, Kopychyntsi, Prymorsk, Zalishchyky, Zboriv.
A detailed address search has been added to 86 towns and settlements in the oblast of Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Volyn, Zhytomyr, and Zaporizhia. Road network has been revised and updated in Zaporizhia and Zhytomyr oblast.
