NAVITEL RE 5 DUAL is a unique 2-in-1 device, which combines car DVR functionality with GPS navigation features. The device is designed for user-friendly experience with a multifunctional approach in mind.
Based on the reliable and fast Linux operating system, NAVITEL RE 5 DUAL will provide stable and smooth operation on any trip. The device will allow you to plot a route of any complexity with an unlimited number of waypoints, and the search is available not only by the address, but also by the base of useful objects: gas stations, banks, cafes and attractions.
The device is equipped with a high-quality camera with a modern GC2053 sensor and glass optics providing a viewing angle of 140°. The resolution of 1920x1080 Full HD at 30 frames per second allows for high-quality video shooting in low light, as well as in the conditions of the blinding sun.
Unique feature of enhanced navigation allows keeping track of driving prompts while launching video recorder as the main mode.
One of the key advantages of NAVITEL RE 5 DUAL is a magnetic mount with a continuous power supply. The suction cup mount base that is included in the package attaches firmly to the windshield of the car. Through the USB port, it is connected to the car lighter socket via a NAVITEL car charger that is also included.
Even during navigation it is easy to keep an eye on the recording. You can drag the preview window across the display. Built-in G-sensor is crucial for retaining critical footage made during road accidents. Motion detection is activated when the vehicle is accelerating at a high speed, the brakes are engaged non routinely, or unusual activity is detected close to the car.
The device supports the connection of an HD rearview camera, which you can install in the car and thus record the events taking place behind the car.

The package of maps preinstalled on NAVITEL RE 5 DUAL includes 47 European countries. Additional maps can be purchased and installed with the help of Navitel Navigator Update Center. The device uses microSD up to 32 GB to store additional maps and media files.

Every map includes residential and industrial infrastructure with address search and detailed road network with traffic direction, interchanges, roundabouts, and other relevant information. There is also a huge POI database (filling stations, ATMs, restaurants, etc.) and an extensive SPEEDCAM database.
