NAVITEL R980 4K is Now Available for Purchase

The brand-new flagship is equipped with a set of modern sensors and a camera module that is capable of 4K recording at any time of day.

NAVITEL R980 4K will never miss any important detail thanks to its SONY IMX 415 sensor that provides Ultra HD (3840x2160 px) shooting resolution. Interpolation-free technology guarantees native 4K resolution without image enlargement and pixel duplication. This allows to capture smaller details such as road defects and little objects scattered on the surface.

The Sony IMX 415 sensor comes with a STARVIS matrix and a 7-layer glass lens with a built-in infrared filter. In collaboration, those produce top image quality in any lighting conditions, be it bright sunlight or dark night. The viewing angle reaches 140° which enables the DVR to record both roadways and sidewalks.

NAVITEL R980 4K is quipped with a built-in 3'' 854x480 px touchscreen that displays useful information for the driver, while its IPS matrix provides excellent viewing angles. The screen allows to customize device to owner's liking, adjust image quality and watch recorded photos and videos. In detection mode GPS informer turns on and helps the driver to avoid penalties and unwanted accidents. Thanks to an extensive database of road restrictions, the DVR is capable of notifying the user about any and all speed traps, lane cameras and dangerous route sections.

The dash cam also features a Wi-Fi module for convenient control. Its owner just needs to connect DVR to a smartphone and download NAVITEL DVR Center app. This program allows to remotely update firmware, configure settings and view videos directly on an iOS/Android-powered device.

NAVITEL R980 4K is also equipped with a G-sensor and parking mode feature. When a sharp maneuver or an impact occurs, the sensor shifts and commands the DVR to immediately save current file into a protected folder. The module's sensitivity can be adjusted in accordance with owner's driving style and current conditions, so that it does not trigger on rough terrains and bumpy roads. When in Parking Mode, G-sensor can also trigger the camera to start recording, even if the driver is not in place and car ignition is off^*.

The brand-new DVR comes with a magnetic mount that allows to install and remove device in a single sweep without the need to disconnect its wire. When connected to power grid, the dash cam will automatically start recording without unnecessary clicks.
